Before and After, or We Need a Macro Lens
Before
After
Hmm a bit over exposed
The 70-200 was good for this shot, the bkgd is totally blow out!
His parents' pear tree
I love the light bouncing off to the side!
Need to improve on the placement of the ring for this kind of shot, but the color of this flower was so intense that I had to use it.
love this too, but too bad its white on white. ooh can't wait to try this shot on a purple orchid!
Any suggestions for places to do a ring photoshoot? Flowers are easy, I should be more creative and think outside the box.

I think the flowers are a good idea. I think a macro lens wouldn't hurt. But you can try taking pictures of the ring under water or what not. Or maybe on a blade of grass. Or use your arts and crafts and find interesting placements for the ring? I think your creative corner rack has enough things to give you ideas. You could even involve kitchen stuff since you like to cook/bake, etc.... Hope this helps.
it's tough to shoot jewelry with a 70-200...i think we need a macro lens. hint hint
omg, did you just designed that ring yourself? it looks amazing!
Awesome ring, creepy thumb
