Guest photoist: Jason H. (He's only 9!)
I love the various shades of gray mixed with the wispy white clouds. And the birdies are so cute!

Ferris Wheel
Canadian National Exhibition
Toronto
August 2005
CNE or "The Ex" as they call it is pretty fun. I want to go back and ride the ferris wheel- Lake Ontario must look gorgeous from up high! Vancouver has its own version, the PNE. I want to go there too! Okay...I need to stop visiting Canada. 5 times is enough already, hehe.

European Booty
Souvenirs
June 2007
Just for shits and giggles, I thought that I'd showcase all the goodies that my parents got me on their recent trip! I was actually kidding when I said that I wanted something from every place, hehe. The only place that they didn't shop at was England b/c everything was freaking expensive. Anyhoo I ended up with: keychain and windmill figurine from Holland, guidebooks of Vienna, Rome, and Salzburg, a pen and puzzle map of the world from Liechtenstein, a fake cuckoo clock and lots and lots and lots of CHOCOLATES from Switzerland, and a photo frame and CROISSANT from Paris (yes my mom wrapped up an honest to goodness croissant for me and brought it back home!) Notice how I am so excited about the edible souvenirs. :P
This was my real gift though:
A Bucherer watch! Omg, it's gorgeous. I can't stop staring at my wrist. I am such a lucky gal!

Happy Red Ribbon Day
Kimbap
Kimbap
Evil twin sister's kitchen
May 2007
When I tried kimbap for the first time over a year ago I said, "Ooh Korean sushi!" I know, I'm such a nerd. In the past 2 years I've developed quite a palate for Korean food. Since kimbap is one of my favorites, evil twin sister taught me how to make it! Once you get the technique down, it's quite easy. I like how the colors pop out in this photo.

What to do when it's cold out?
My parents
Hollywood Bowl
September 2005
This picture makes me laugh so much every time I see it! We took my parents to the Hollywood Bowl to watch two Hawaiian artists that I like: Na Leo and Keali'i Reichel. We did not think it was going to be that cold! My parents were thinking of ways to keep warm so they found plastic bags and used them to cover their heads. I guess that's employing some science because I remember learning that the human body loses a percentage of body heat through the head. Anyhoo, I miss my silly parents! They are finally returning from Europe tomorrow, yay! I don't gotta water anymore plants! :P
